The first challenge of getting new customers is felt by 80% of small businesses while the second by only 52%. The marketing budget is a primary concern for 41% of small businesses.

In the rush to hit mobile marketing and social media it is important that print media not be forgotten. 65% of consumers actually value the mail they receive in their mailbox. However, there are only 36% of businesses that feel consumers value their mail.
Of the 15 to 17 year old age range there are 51% of them who say that they have actually made a purchase based on something they received in the mail. Direct mail also influences 72% of young homemakers to make a purchase.
